Prof. Venkatesha G has obtained his Postgraduate degree MS in Electronics and Control from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani in 1997. He studied in Bachelor of Engineering (BE). in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore and obtained Bachelor of Engineering from Mysore university in 1994. He is pursuing his PhD in Visveswaraiah Technological University.
He is the Life member of international professional societies like IEEE, ISTE, IMAPS and Institute of Engineers (IE). He is also a Fellow of IETE.
He has 25 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. He has presented research technical papers in many National and International Conference. He has published good number of research works in international journals of good impact factors. He has guided more than 20 postgraduate students in their academic research work. He also guided more than 200 undergraduate students in their technical projects, paper presentation, and workshops. His area of interest and research are Signal Processing, Image processing and Machine Learning.
He has established Electronics and Communication Engineering Department in Brindavan College of Engineering with state of the art laboratories and class rooms. He is heading the department right from the inception. He has organised, co-ordinated many hands on workshops, conferences, technical festivals and extracurricular activities. Under his leadership the students have won many prizes in different intercollegiate technical festivals, project exhibitions and in conferences.
He is more versatile with publishing technical and literary articles in Newspapers and magazines. His additional hobbies are Photography, Theatre, and Cinema. He is also practising Hindustani Musical Instrument Sitar from last 5 years.
